Recently received Series A Funding!Key Responsibilities :• Lead and develop a data engineering team in an agile and remote environment; providing support and guidance to team members• Build and manage our data infrastructure and solutions, including our data lake, streaming platform, pipelines, and data warehouses; ensuring high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Scala, Spark, and AWS tools• Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models using Machine Learning and Data Science• Perform data analysis and develop data-driven insights to support business decisions• Develop and maintain data policies, procedures, and standardsQualifications :• 5+ years of experience with Scala, Spark, and AWS• Extensive knowledge of ETL design and development• Strong understanding of Data Infrastructure, Data Pipelines, Data Solutions, Machine Learning, and Data Science• Experience with data analysis and data-driven insights• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with remote teams• Ability to ensure high levels of quality, availability, reliability, and scalability• Experience leading and developing data engineering teamsBenefits• Competitive Compensation: $180k - 220k + equity!• Equity with tremendous UPSIDE (you are still early enough)• 100% REMOTE work• Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits• 401k• VERY Flexible PTOApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Preferred SkillsSPARKScalaAWSETLdata infrastructureData PipelinesData SolutionsMachine LearningData Science
