Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Software Developer proficient in Scala programming to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications for our ML/AI project on our manufacturing quality control software.Key Responsibilities• Design, develop and test software applications and systems using Scala programming language• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve software-related problems• Maintain and optimize existing software applications and systems• Document software design, requirements, and testing procedures• Provide support for AI and vision systems• Troubleshoot and maintain hardware and network systemsQualifications• Strong proficiency in Scala programming language• Experience with functional programming and reactive design• Knowledge of Linux administration, scripting, and configuration• Familiarity with version control systems such as GIT• Experience with automated testing and software development lifecycle• Proficiency in Java and/or Python• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and database management• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience in software quality assurance and documentation• Experience in hardware maintenance and system optimization is a plusBenefits• Comprehensive Health Benefits• 401K/Retirement plan• Paid time off• Employee discount• Hybrid or Remote work availableEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
