Senior Audit ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager to lead our audit team and provide an essential oversight function for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our financial statements and related disclosures accurately reflect the financial position of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement the annual audit plan, ensuring that it aligns with the company's strategic objectives• Manage and oversee the audit staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as appropriate• Assess the adequacy of the company's internal controls and make recommendations for improvements as necessary• Ensure that all audit work is conducted in accordance with professional standards and regulations• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors• Develop and maintain effective relationships with external auditors, ensuring that all audit requirements are met• Remain current on industry developments, best practices, and emerging risks to ensure that the audit function remains relevant and effectiveQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification required• 10+ years of experience in audit, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role• Expert knowledge of external audit principles and practices, including financial audits and CECL• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation• Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlinesBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
