Position OverviewThe Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax preparation and planning for individuals and estates, with a focus on international tax issues. This role involves reviewing tax returns, providing insights into tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, estates, and international clients.• Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.• Conduct research on various tax issues and provide guidance to clients and team members.• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax preparation.• Mentor and train junior accountants in tax processes and best practices.• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact clients.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.• CPA or EA, a plus.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or related field.• Strong knowledge of estate, international, and gift taxation.• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and estates.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.BenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
