Tax ManagerPosition OverviewOur client is a recurring award winning firm in Madison Wisconsin that is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to lead our tax department and oversee all tax-related activities. The successful candidate must be a bright and motivated tax leader with a strong background in working primarily with closely held business clients.Key Responsibilities• Provide consulting services to partnerships, corporations, S corporations and individuals for a variety of small to middle market clients• Proactively provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on knowledge gained relative to our client's operations, processes and business objectives• Tax research in response to complex client tax matters• Correspondence with the client and tax authorities, preparation of internal memos• Working and meeting with firm tax clients to build relationships and provide superior client service• Actively market to existing and new clientsQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.• Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting and tax management.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Live in Wisconsin and be licensed to file in stateBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
