The PIMCO Information and Cybersecurity Organization is seeking to hire a Project Manager to lead the planning, tracking and delivery of the core Cybersecurity book of work. The candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of the various work streams underpinning the PIMCO cybersecurity strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mind, experience in plan development and execution, and a deep understanding of the foundational concepts of information and cybersecurity and how they interact to achieve PIMCO’s overarching cybersecurity strategy.

What You’ll Do

Responsible for the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities supporting the prioritized the cybersecurity book of work.
Applies a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and procedures to the composition and development of actionable plans to ensure on-time delivery.
Ensures the creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, partner management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
Ensures program plans meet business need / risk position as described in the program initiation documents.
Provide management and collaborators with a transparent and prioritized view of program status, timelines and any associated risks and dependencies.
Ensures all partners are identified and included in scope definition activities.
Promotes active awareness and communication to all relevant team members regarding program schedule, timelines, objectives, and key milestones.
Ensures program stakeholders receive schedule status regularly.
Call outs program risks to the CISO when appropriate.

Key Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering or a related qualification or experience.
5-10 years of IT or Cybersecurity Project Management.
Meticulous attention to detail, ability to clearly articulate program status, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably to deliver on tight schedules.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excel at communicating with other teams, collaborators and Sr. management as needed.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
Awareness of cybersecurity trends
Desired Certifications: PMP, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CompTIA CySA, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 126,000.00 - $ 170,000.00
