Director of Global Marketing

Role Summary

The Director, Global Marketing is responsible for leading, managing, and coaching a team of marketing experts, and to execute the organization’s marketing strategy. You will own marketing for the company and will set and execute a global marketing strategy that delivers high-quality leads, sales pipeline, and ultimately revenue. In this role, you will develop a strong trusted relationship with the regional Sales team, working closely with Sales leadership, Sales enablement, and Sales Ops teams to jointly grow the pipeline. You will lead and grow a team of field marketing managers, Digital Marketing, Marketing Ops, Product Marketing and others as necessary.


Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage comprehensive outbound marketing strategy and planning including segmentation, targeting, market sizing, media and communications plan, roll-out strategy, and integration with PR, Editorial, growth, partnerships and performance marketing.
  • Lead and collaborate with a multitude of cross-functional stakeholders to deliver world-class marketing campaigns, events and GTMs.
  • Build the strategy and plan for full funnel regional marketing including digital marketing, demand generation campaigns, sales prospecting programs, virtual and in-person field events, and third-party tradeshows and conferences
  • Work with internal sales and collaborate closely with alliance marketing team and stakeholders on externally facing joint marketing activities including events, thought leadership, content creation, email and digital marketing, webinars, and promotions
  • Oversee team’s execution of geographically focused campaigns and activities focused on shortening the sales cycle for key accounts. Field marketing campaigns include on- and offline tactics and span the entire sales cycle, focused by audience, region, and sometimes by vertical.
  • Track, measure, and communicate program results, continually optimize for efficiency and scale, and seek to generate new global best practices through experimental effortsLead market assessment, quantitative analysis, and qualitative feedback and represent our users internally
  • Build strong collaborative relationships and alliances with key internal and external teams and partners to prioritize and establish the team’s roadmap, delivering against clearly defined brand objectives while ensuring positive and productive team environments
  • Model inclusive behaviors and build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives


Requirements:
  • 10+ years in field & digital marketing with experience leading teams. Additionally, experience across multiple marketing disciplines, including customer-facing events, digital campaigns, and email.
  • Track record of developing global strategy and delivering impactful communication and campaigns internationally - proven with data.
  • Data Driven - displayed and proven experience in using data to both (i) inform strategy and communication (ii) develop meaningful GTM approaches that drive business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of CRM, marketing automation, SEM, account-based marketing, performance marketing, and email marketing tactics and technology
  • Experience developing and executing both scaled and targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs across all stages of the funnel
  • Experience designing and delivering both digital and in-person event environments, with in-depth knowledge incorporating event experiences into the buyer’s journey to generate demandStrong written and verbal skills, including presentations and slide decks
  • Ability to work closely with a distributed sales team and collaborate closely across geographically dispersed marketing teams and disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable in a range of environments from a C-level executive dinner to chatting with practitioners at conferences
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and actively seek candid feedback from relevant stakeholders
  • Travel across North America/EMEA as needed for internal meetings and major marketing events
