Power BI/SSRS Developer

Job Overview:We are seeking a Power BI / SSRS Developer to join our team in Columbus, GA. In this role, you'll take the lead in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards, while also establishing best practices and governance for our Power BI environment. This position offers the opportunity to drive the overall strategy for data visualization and help advance the maturity of our Power BI platform.Key Responsibilities:• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs.• Establish rules, standards, and best practices for Power BI development and usage.• Lead efforts to create and enhance the overall strategy for Power BI, driving the maturity of the platform.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources and ensure seamless data delivery.• Provide guidance and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reporting capabilities.Required Skills & Experience:• Power BI: Proven experience in building and managing reports, dashboards, and datasets.• SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services): Experience in designing, developing, and deploying reports.• Microsoft Suite: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.• UI/UX Development: Strong focus on user interface and user experience in the design of data visualizations.• Data Governance: Ability to set up and enforce standards for data quality and security within the Power BI environment.Nice-to-Have Skills:• Experience working in an ITAR-regulated environment.• Familiarity with SQL, DAX, or other data modeling and querying languages.• Background in Aerospace, Defense, or other high-security industries.
