Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.The Trade Compliance Analyst II position for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a critical role to ensure the company’s imports and exports are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulatory requirements of Customs authorities and other applicable governmental agencies.This role acts as a primary point of contact for inquiries and escalations from Beckman Coulter Diagnostics’ sites and other stakeholder groups.This position is part of the Global Logistics & Distribution organization and is based in Hebron, Kentucky. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.If you are an experienced Trade Compliance operations professional that thrives in a dynamic role and wants to work towards building a world-class program to help optimize Beckman Coulter’ supply chain while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance read on.In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to direct, assist with, and participate in, the following activities in support of our Trade Compliance Program :• Developing and implementing import / export processes related to broker / agent management including oversight of broker KPIs and daily management.• Conducting post entry and Danaher Self-Testing audit transactional reviews.• Coordinating and preparing trade compliance import or export license applications utilization, maintenance, and closure.• Managing trade data classification, country of origin, and partner government agency data at a country or regional level to ensure compliant and expeditious customs releases.• Interfacing with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other trade compliance-related third-party service providers to ensure compliance with procedures.The essential requirements of the job include :• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of direct experience in import and export operations related roles.• Strong working knowledge and interpretation of US import and export regulations and related operations.• Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.• Understanding of global supply chain and logistics processes preferred.On Site Presence :This position will be required to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week at the Hebron, Kentucky site.LI- MR1At Danaher we bring together science, technology and operational capabilities to accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology.We partner with customers across the globe to help them solve their most complex challenges, architecting solutions that bring the power of science to life.Our global teams are pioneering what’s next across Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Biotechnology and beyond.
