The founders and executive team have over 30+ years of combined experience in scaling disruptive technology and operations-focused businesses. Darwin Homes was backed by top Silicon Valley venture capital (Khosla, Fifth Wall) and was acquired by Pagaya Technologies, a publicly traded company, in early 2023. Pagaya is an AI/ML data technology company with offices in Tel Aviv, New York, and Austin.

The Role

Darwin Homes is growing fast and we're looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and passionate candidate to join our team. We’re growing fast, and growth means the challenges we’ll work on together will change as we lead Darwin through new and different phases. This role is location-specific.

• Own all eviction processes and functions; ensure timely processing of notices, filings and other related actions; serve as the subject matter expert for these functions.
• Ensure daily communication with clients, defendants, tenants and courts in a professional manner.
• Research applications and legal files as needed.
• Ensure accurate data entry in Darwin’s system of record as well as multiple Third Party web systems.
• Support the Portfolio Management teams by providing timely and accurate information as needed.
• Work with the leadership team on the execution of strategy and recommend improvements to existing processes to improve collection activities, reduce delinquency and improve financial performance.
• Work with the Product Operations team to create, update and monitor performance management dashboards that measure renewal rates, resident satisfaction, move-ins/move-outs, managing the team to agreed-upon KPIs.
• Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with clients when needed, providing updates and information about performance, and responding to owner requests as needed.
• Create and maintain the operational playbook for ongoing operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field
• Paralegal certification is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in multi or single-family community operations or management with at least 3 years of management experience
• Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and get along with others
• Ability to facilitate presentations or speak in public to large groups of people
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to set and meet goals and consistently meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
