Job Description

The role of Data Analyst is to assist the Steam Power SSA Leadership team in performing analysis of data in the commercial, strategic, operational, and financial fields to understand trends of performance of the organization and the market and to support decision making on continuous improvement actions, Kaizen, Monthly Operation Rhythm
The Data Analysist needs to be versatile, agile, with critical thinking to drive data exploration and being able to pivot to requests to bring solutions to focused areas

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role:

  • Perform data crunching and analysis of existing data to develop dashboards, graphical representations to enable an evaluation of a trend, to track progress and drive
  • Develop dashboard, data repository and standard work to support data analysis
  • Perform data curacy to ensure appropriate reporting is performed
  • Work closely with department leaders and team members to pull data, propose recommendations or areas of analysis
  • Understanding the connection between data and performance, making proposal for relevant tracking of performance
  • Support Kaizen preparation in term data analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent
  • Strong assertiveness of data management
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of Smartsheet and Tableau to be a plus

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to engage multiple members of the organization
  • Ability to understand principle of process flows
  • Critical thinking ability and very analytics mindset
