What will you be expected to do?

• Monitoring and Escalation – SolarWind alerts, NetBackup jobs,
• Batch jobs processing including backups (e.g., execute/submit, monitor and handle jobs according to work instructions defined)
• Tape media management for on-site and off-site storage
• Job Scheduling using scheduling software provided
• Daily Reports – Server and network monitoring, backup status & etc.
• 24x7 Point of Contact for ASOC (Escalation list to be provided)
• CyberArk Privilege password approvals (act only upon seeing approval email from LTA)
• Server health checks
• Start-up, shut-up, reboot systems, restart services, etc.
• Print Operations e.g., generation & distribution of reports, housekeep of printers, etc.
• Initiate prompt actions for tasks indicated on the checklists
• Ensure proper hand-over to next shift team member
• Provide data & information for Incident Report
• Logging of events according to defined procedure
• Liaise with users/customers on project related operational matters
• Respond promptly to incident and escalate immediately to next level support as per pre-defined procedure
• Assist in investigating and troubleshooting of reported issues.
• Aid administrator/engineers in remote management and troubleshooting
• Assist Project Manager in the inventory of hardware equipment in Data Centre. Inventory list provided by PM
• Assist in enforcing security access authorization base on authorization list provided by Project Manager/owner
• Participate in DR Exercise
• Collection of server / data for monthly reporting.
• Maintenance of the PCs provided by the project team: Windows patching, cloning of machine, hardware faulty, etc.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Diploma Computer Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Batch Management
• Familiar with: Control-M 9.0.19.x: Fundamentals, Basic SAP, Data Centre Operations Support, ITIL methodologies
• Possess initiative with positive working attitudes and customer services oriented;
• Independent and goal-oriented;
• Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills;
