Job Description

Data Engineer Intern working in a team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Semiconductor Product Engineers. The team focus is the design and implementation of data analytics products supporting the safety, quality, availability, and performance of TEL’s semiconductor products. Data analytics products include technical troubleshooting aids, predictive maintenance tools, and process characterizations. The Data Engineer Intern will be provided an experienced Data Engineer as a mentor.

Internship is paid via payroll processing provider.

Job Responsibilities:

Project work generating proof-of-concept for new data pipelines, CI/CD, and other Data Engineering functions.
May perform other duties, as needed, to assist the data team.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Engineering or related STEM degree
Demonstrated proficiency in Python for manipulating datasets
Demonstrated proficiency in DataFrames
Data architecture, SQL experience
DBA, DevOps, CI/CD, Git skills preferred
Familiarity with robotics control systems and maintenance preferred
Familiarity with industrial productivity concepts preferred
