Data Entry Clerk (Lab environment)

M-F: 8pm-430AM

Responsibilities:

The main function of an data entry clerk is responsible for processing laboratory samples. They work with other laboratory employees to catalog patient specimens, like blood, urine, or tissue, for analysis. They mostly work with blood. Lab professionals carry out diagnosis and treatment based on the samples received. Ensures that all patients personal information is entered in properly. Occasional testing of specimen is required.

Essential Duties:
Receives and triages all specimens for clinical testing. Manages clinical information within LIMS database. Performs internal audits of clinical charts. Collaborates with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.

Qualifications:
AS or BS degree in biological sciences preferred. Proven attention to accuracy and deadlines. Proven ability to work well independently and within a team. 0-2 years of experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Overland Park, KS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
