POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Insights Analyst uses their strong background in business intelligence, statistics, or analytics to support and advise campus partners on their reporting and analysis functions. Well-versed in Microsoft Power BI, the analyst translates non-technical user questions into technical solutions and builds relationships across campus to nurture and promote a data-informed campus culture. The analyst works within the Information Technology Services Data Insights team to build out data resources, advance the expansion of analytics capacity across campus, and support department-specific reports and dashboards. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with campus stakeholders to develop reports, dashboards, and analytic capacity.
- Provide technical guidance and training to other data users, explain tools and processes to business stakeholders, communicate value, and inspire action.
- Date governance, privacy and technology to ensure accurate, compliant and ethical data usage.
- Locate and acquire data, explore organizing and developing sustainable data usage.
