Your Impact on our Mission:

Zocdoc is seeking a Data Product Manager to join a centralized team that creates and maintains a robust analytics layer to power Zocdoc's business intelligence tools and enables the business to answer questions quickly, consistently, and reliably. You will identify data problems and use cases across the org and build data products that drive all critical analysis and decision-making across the organization.

Your day to day is includes…

  • Identifying problems and building requirements, acceptance criteria, and priorities for analytics platform user experiences.
  • Collaborating with internal users across all business functions: Product, Embedded Analysts, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Engineering and Business/Commercial Operations to define KPIs & metrics that data product needs to provide.
  • Collaborating with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering team to prioritize Data products' development
  • Communicating and managing expectations across a diverse set of partners; mediate and cultivate partnerships and collaboration.
  • Developing, owning, and overseeing execution of the data product roadmap and agile ceremonies.
  • Promoting and allowing data to expand within the company by producing high-quality data products and self-serve artifacts.
  • Enabling data consumers to efficiently answer critical questions and get accurate insights with trusted and sanctioned data sets.
  • Being an advocate for data governance, security, privacy, quality, cost, and retention.

You'll be successful in this role if you have…

  • Around 2 years of experience as a Product Manager building internal products and tools, especially around data/analytics.
  • Ability to write SQL, especially within cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Experience applying software engineering best practices to analytics (e.g., testing, agile/scrum, and release best practices).
  • Experience managing the administration and/or adoption of a data visualization tool and data catalog (e.g., Looker, Collibra) OR comparable internal tool.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and can work independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communications skills across all levels of stakeholders (business & technical).
  • An ability to break down and explain complex technical concepts to business end-users, and business context/concepts to technical teams/developers.

Zocdoc is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. Certain positions are also eligible for variable pay and/or equity; your recruiter will discuss the full compensation package details.

NYC Base Salary Range

$143,000—$193,000 USD
