As a Data Science Consulting Manager in our Group Benefits business, you will lead and shape how we deliver and implement data analytics solutions that are part of overarching long-term data and analytics strategy. In this role, you will focus on prospecting, sales enablement, ratings and quotes, underwriting, customer enrollment and Inforce Management as part of our value chain for Group Benefits.
You will play a highly visible role and partner with key business stakeholders to leverage data science to accelerate growth and value in our business strategy and advise them on how to design and deliver data and advanced analytics solutions.

You have

Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or a master’s degree or higher in technical studies including computer science, engineering or mathematics is preferred.

5 plus years of proven ability in data science, analytics, or related fields; solid understanding of machine learning techniques, such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.

Experience working in the insurance or financial industry is a plus.

Experience working with multi-functional teams, managing partner expectations, and driving projects to completion.

Solid project management skills, including developing project plans, identifying risks and dependencies, and managing project scope and budget.

Demonstrable ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, adapt to changing requirements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Consistent record to handling ambiguity and navigating complex business problems with minimal direction.

Superb communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business languages.

Very solid ability to communicate and present to senior and executive level management.

Location & Travel

This is a flexible position within the Tri-State area requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, preferably Bethlehem, PA; Holmdel, NJ, or New York City with travel as needed.

Salary Range
$111,840.00 - $183,735.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
