Data Scientist - Internet Scale AdTech Data - REMOTE

The Data Scientist is responsible for collaborating with the team to design and implement systems that focus on forecasting, allocating, delivering, and reporting of advertising on the internet, TV, and connected devices. The successful candidate will utilize advanced mathematical, optimization, machine-learning, software engineering, and programming skills to solve challenging problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop innovative forecasts, models, algorithms, and solutions and build prototypes and production implementations
Dig deep into high volumes of data, engineer features for improved forecast performance
Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical people

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field; MS preferred, Bachelors acceptable with significant relevant experience
0-3+ years of relevant experience (appropriate MS project work acceptable)
Strong analytical, statistical, and math abilities
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills Extreme attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Python
Experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, data mining, statistical modeling, optimization, algorithms, big-data, game theory

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with machine learning models, techniques, and software libraries
Experience with big data concepts and technologies, including Spark
Experience with Java, Scala, R
Familiarity with software version control systems

Location for the position is at Amobee's offices in Baltimore, MD, and also open to remote candidates able to support East Coast operating hours.

Compensation for Colorado residents only:

Amobee carefully considers many factors, such as experience and competencies, regarding compensation. These considerations can greatly impact compensation amounts. This role starts at a minimum $79,400 annual base salary. Depending on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, qualifications and skillsets, the actual pay may be higher. Amobee also offers a very competitive benefits package, which are subject to eligibility requirements.
