This is with our direct client and requires candidates to be on our w2 also the position is based in Chicago (onsite)

Title: Data Scientist

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Summary:
-The Data Scientist is responsible for the development of reports, analytics, and various analytics and machine learning model for a variety of business needs and requests, in addition to working directly with business personnel to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into deliverables.

-Assignments include developing new machine learning models using a variety of data sources, developing various user-ingested reports and dashboards, and developing various queries for reports and user needs.

-This position works closely with all levels of the organization to ensure user-friendly and accurate reports, dashboards, and analytical models.

Minimum Experience Required:
1+ years: Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to generate reports, create pertinent documentation and supply information to relevant parties.
2+ years: Experience with developing reports and SQL with various reporting platforms (SSRS, PowerBI, Tableu).
2+ years: Experience with developing analytics models utilizing various machine learning and analytical tools (eg: Python Pandas).

Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Area of Study: Engineering, Computer Science. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of data scientist work experience will be considered.
Preferred: Utility experience, Project Management experience, experience with PowerBI, AWS, and Python Pandas.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $76.09 - $81.52 per hour
