Data Security Analyst I - Remote

Everi is currently seeking a Data Security Analyst. If you are an IT professional trained in cyber security and you are looking for a growing company with a great work-life balance, we want to talk to you!
What Will You Be Doing?
Evaluates systems and potential security problems that may arise, including
security certification tests, penetration tests, and internal security audits
Ensures compliance with industry regulations, which include SOX, SOC 2, and PCI
Quickly respond to escalated email events including phishing and malware
Work closely with SOC and Information Technology team members
Monitor logs as well as identify and report vulnerabilities to the appropriate stakeholders
Monitor and operate common cyber security tools such as EDR, SIEM, CASB, SEG, and other security tools for events and incidents

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
1-2 years of experience as a Data Security Administrator, Data Security Analyst, or similar IT-related positions with an emphasis on cyber security
1-3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer
Familiar with a variety of security concepts, practices, and procedures, including network and project management
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IS, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required
Experience with TCP/IP, Office 365, Mail as well as Windows and Unix operating systems

Nice to have:
Certifications focused on cyber security: Comptia Security+, SC200, SC300, AZ500, eJPT, BTL1, PNPT, GSEC, GCIH, Splunk Power User, etc.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $79,000 annually.
