Under general supervision, provides administrative, data collection and evaluation components relating to Energy Management Facilities, and Capital and Construction Projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains and collects data associated with utility rebates, payments, and vouchers
Develops and maintains databases and/or systems to record, track, and evaluate statistical information
Maintains all files and reports for Capital Improvement and Construction Projects
Processes, audits, and tracks revenue checks for utility rebates and/or similar allowances
Assists in the design, formatting, and preparation of any statistical data collection
Provides analysis of trends/data and provide recommendations to executives and other leaders for follow-up and action
Serves as point of contact for energy programs
Provides cross functional/administrative team support and may assist with acquisition and procurement
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from High School or a General Education development (GED) certificate, and five years of experience in an office environment dealing with databases; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have good knowledge of basic office practices and procedures
Must have good knowledge of English spelling, grammar and punctuation; and good knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Must have skill in operating a personal computer, typewriter and basic office equipment
Skill to type 45wpm with no more than 7 errors;Requires recent typing test administered by Workforce Solutions Alamo Career Centers (Please attach a copy of your typing test results to your online application or fax them to (210) 335-2558 by the closing date.)
Must have the ability to collect and analyze information; develop statistical analyses and reports; ability to organize, compile and record statistical data accurately; operate personal computer and basic office equipment; manage time effectively; perform basic mathematical calculations; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees and the general public
Must be able and willing to attend training at department's discretion
Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver's license
Must secure and maintain a favorable background check and clearance investigation
Must clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test
When required, shall work extra hours, holidays, evenings, weekends and other shifts
May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Working conditions are primarily inside an office/school environment
Occasionally moves items weighing up to 10 pounds
Occasionally moves about the office
Frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
Positions self to perform essential functions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position
