An experienced MS SQL Server Database Administrator

Showing a proven track record as a Database Administrator
-
Knowledgeable in data backup, recovery, security, and integrity

Proficient in utilizing DBA monitoring tools and third-party tools
-
Possessing strong problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking
-
Willing to participate in an on-call rotation for timely issue escalation

Familiar with T-SQL and capable of optimizing queries
-
Skilled in SSIS and adept at solving performance problems

Able to set up monitoring systems to identify bottlenecks and potential issues
-
Fluent in English to facilitate daily communication
-
Maintaining DB servers, ensuring optimal health, performance, availability, and security
-
Resolving real-time issues and delivering end-to-end problem resolution

Database migrations
-
Monitoring and adjusting DB performance as required

Additional responsibilities, including process automation, documentation, backup, recovery, and potential CI/CD involvement
-
Collaborative engagement with two client representatives on a daily basis
-
Schedule flexibility to accommodate long-term joint collaboration with the client
-
The following schedule: Monday to Thursday: 2 to 11 PM (Kyiv time), Friday: 11 AM to 8 PM (Kyiv time), with on-call availability until 2 AM for urgent assignments
