Investment Analyst & Trader
Job Summary
A fast-paced, multi-strategy hedge fund is looking for an entry-level Investment Analyst & Trader. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates or professionals transitioning into finance to learn directly from seasoned experts in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll support a small, high-performing team by:
- Conducting research on equities, options, and other financial instruments
- Analyzing investment opportunities using both fundamental and quantitative methods
- Creating financial models and investment reports
- Monitoring markets, economic data, and corporate news
- Assisting in trade execution and risk management activities
- Supporting due diligence efforts for potential investment targets
- Using alternative data to identify emerging trends and alpha opportunities
You’ll work directly with the Portfolio Manager and contribute to live investment decisions from day one.

- Early in their finance careers (6 months to 3 years of experience)

Preferred Qualifications
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. The following are helpful:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Prior internship or job experience related to investment analysis, trading, or asset management
- Familiarity with financial modeling or valuation techniques
- CFA or CFOA (Certified Futures & Options Analyst) certification
- Completion of TrendUp Now Level 3 or SRP program (fast-tracks your application)
