Project and Operations Manager

Job Overview
Accelera IT is seeking a driven and organized Project & Operations Manager to lead the execution of internal and client-facing IT projects and ensure smooth day-to-day service delivery. This role reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role in improving processes, coordinating teams, and helping us deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate has experience in managed IT services or project-based service environments and thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate internal and client-facing IT projects from scoping to completion
  • Break down goals into clear milestones, timelines, and resource plans
  • Ensure all projects, tickets, and tasks are properly aligned, up to date, and executed on time and within budget
  • Track client SLA performance and ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded
  • Monitor technician workloads, project health, and resource allocation
  • Ensure all project activities are tracked in Autotask (our PSA platform)
  • Collaborate across teams to improve workflows and project handoffs
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and consistency
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in project execution and service delivery
  • Drive accountability through task tracking, follow-ups, and reporting
  • Report regularly to the CEO on progress, risks, and team performance
  • Maintain alignment with internal standards and documentation practices

Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in project or operations management (MSP or IT services preferred)
  • Proficiency with Autotask, IT Glue, or similar PSA/documentation tools
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through
  • Familiarity with project KPIs, SLA tracking, resource planning, and team coordination
  • Experience working in a distributed or multi-location environment is a plus
  • PMP or similar certification is a bonus, not required

Pay: $74,863.00 - $82,750.00 per year
