We're looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Python & Data Science Instructor (Part-Time) to teach practical, project-driven courses focused on data analysis, machine learning, and programming with Python.
Job Overview
As a Python & Data Science Instructor, you will lead students through a structured learning path using Python for data analysis, visualization, and machine learning. You'll guide learners through real-world scenarios and empower them with skills that are in high demand across industries.
Responsibilities
- Teach Python fundamentals, data wrangling, visualization (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn), and machine learning (e.g., scikit-learn).
- Lead students through practical exercises, projects, and case studies.
- Deliver engaging lessons virtually or in-person, using hands-on learning techniques.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
- Assist in maintaining and updating curriculum based on current industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Python programming and data science applications.
- Strong command of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and data science workflows.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Teaching or tutoring experience (preferred but not required).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Background in statistics, data storytelling, or data engineering.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Data Scientist).
