Description:
The DBA will maintain SQL Server environments backing the PIMS simulation models. Duties include performance tuning, troubleshooting, supporting PIMS agents, and assisting with data migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain SQL databases across environments.
• Work with developers and IT to resolve DB issues.
• Participate in data backup and security operations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years SQL Server experience.
• Azure SQL and cloud database knowledge a plus.

Duties

• Troubleshoot database issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Experience

• Proven experience in database administration with a strong understanding of various databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL processes is a plus.
• Experience in database design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques to enhance system efficiency.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation purposes.
• Understanding of high availability solutions within database environments.
