About this role

We are looking for a brilliant Content Marketer to join our New York-based team! You’ll create a wide range of content, whether that’s material to further educate our prospects or thought leadership content that’s designed to amuse and inspire. Think webinars, integrated Marketing campaigns, Events or just (paid) social content. We’re looking for some serious creative talent, alongside flawless grammatical execution and a solid analytical mind. 

This role is an individual contributor role on the content team, and directly impacts our demand gen results. You’ll work closely with the rest of the Marketing team(s), and with Customer Success, Sales and e.g. Professional Services.

What you will do:

  • Elevate DataSnipper’s webinar program into a digital experience unlike anything available to our audience. This includes working with the rest of the content team on campaign management, content creation, nurturing strategies and other demand generation KPIs. 

  • Add a layer of converting content to our Events & Sponsorships strategy, from our internal Connect event all the way to any event we choose to sponsor. 

  • You have a thing for words, and putting them on paper specifically. Writing is a form of art, and we’re looking for someone excited to display their talents any chance they get! Think landing pages, email copy, articles, research and more. 

  • While conversion is important, you love the more subtle types of engagement with our content, and the opportunities it gives us to continue conversations. 

  • You’re happy to get inside the minds of our audience, and unearth who they are, what sets them apart, and what keeps them up at night. 

  • Execute on our quarterly campaign planning, and deliver on time. 

  • Pitch content ideas, themes and other creative approaches. 

 

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing role (preferably with complex B2B SaaS products) 

  • Strategic thinker: you challenge conventional wisdom and reinvent modern marketing tactics  

  • Excellent writing and copy editing skills, we will ask you to share examples. Btw, it’s OK to not ‘just’ speak business! =) 

  • You don’t shy away from a problem, or processes that don’t work (yet) 

  • Understanding of on-page SEO and how to use it in your job 

  • Experience with tools like SEMrush or/and Ahrefs 

  • Understanding of content marketing KPIs and how to measure them 

  • English native speaker
