The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in iOS development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile solutions in a consulting environment. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, provide technical guidance, and build scalable, user-friendly iOS applications. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and backend developers, to deliver cutting-edge mobile solutions that drive business success.This position is mostly remote, though some clients or projects may require onsite work up to 3 days a week. Candidates must be located in one of the following regions: Atlanta, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Minneapolis, New York Area, or St. Louis.Responsibilities• Develop and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift, Objective-C, and the latest iOS SDKs.• Serve as a technical consultant by understanding client requirements and translating them into tailored iOS solutions.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications while adhering to project timelines.• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients on mobile best practices and solutions architecture.• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.• Participate in client-facing meetings to present technical solutions and updates.• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and client value.• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.• Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate backend services.• Stay up to date with Apple’s mobile development standards, guidelines, and technologies.Qualifications• 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development.• Experience with Android development is a plus.• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.• Hands-on experience with Xcode and Apple development tools.• Proven experience in building and deploying applications on the App Store.• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and UIKit.• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services.• Experience with third-party libraries, API integrations, and version control (Git).• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in client-facing scenarios.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.• Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience delivering customized solutions for clients in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.• Experience with modern architectural patterns such as MVVM or MVP.• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices in a consulting environment.• Experience with UI/UX design and implementation.• Familiarity with iOS accessibility standards and testing frameworks.• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.Why Daugherty?• Opportunity to work on high-impact projects with Fortune 500 companies.• A culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.• Competitive compensation and benefits package.• Flexible work environment with remote options.• Strong commitment to professional development and career growth.Daugherty is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.If you require accommodations or assistance to complete the online application process, please inform any recruiter you are working with (or send an email to careers@daugherty.com) and identify the type of accommodation or assistance you are requesting.
