Highway and Bridge Project Manager

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a Project Manager to conduct a variety of Highway and Bridge Maintenance Services, as well as other related tasks. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Highway and Bridge Maintenance Department. This position requires experience with personnel management, all aspects of highway and bridge construction and maintenance, job safety, mechanical ability, record keeping and communication skills, assistance with budget development, and any other tasks assigned. 

• Responsible for Maintenance and Protection of temporary traffic control. 

• Operation of Highway Maintenance Equipment such as bridge inspection units, bucket trucks, pressure washers, street sweepers, and other maintenance related equipment. 

• Responsible for daily production goals, customer communications, and scheduling of daily work. 

• Leads daily safety meetings.  

• Communicates with on-site inspector. 

• Managing the onsite crews ensuring they complete tasks in a timely manner, safely, and within acceptable standards. 

• To allocate work in completion and accordance to plan. 

• Provide daily record keeping of crew size, equipment usage, time, and any sub-contractor usage. 

• Adherence to all safety standards and requirements. 

• Order materials and services, maintain records. 

​​​​​​EDUCATION: 

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. 

EXPERIENCE: 

• 21+ years of age. 

• 3 years of project management experience. 

• Prior Highway Maintenance experience is a plus. 

• Ability to travel away from home for up to 1 week at a time (hotel/travel expenses paid by the company). 

• Ability to workdays, nights, weekends, and overtime, as needed. 

• Must comply with the company drug and alcohol policy. 

• Class CDL A or B license is preferred but not required.
