Debt Capital Markets Lawyer

We are currently seeking a Debt Capital Markets Lawyer to work with leading financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, structure, draft, and negotiate documentation for various complex bond and loan instruments.
  • Provide counsel to internal stakeholders on deal-related matters, including legal, compliance, and reputational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with banking and securities regulations by providing guidance and expertise in internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Advise on legal risks associated with existing and new business activities.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 8 years of debt capital markets experience, preferably with a reputable law firm (AM 200) and in-house experience at a financial institution.
  • Strong track record of working on diverse debt capital markets transactions and solid understanding of various debt instruments and their structures.
  • Proficiency in structuring and executing debt instruments, including bonds, loans, and derivatives. Thorough knowledge of securities laws and financial market regulations is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with internal clients and stakeholders.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers competitive compensation starting at $130,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
