Infrastructure Lead, Enterprise Engineering
Google DeepMind is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to lead and drive technology projects in their workplace, ensuring security and facilitating research progress with world-class infrastructure.
Skills
- Deep Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Knowledge of systems and networking software/hardware
- Information security accountability
- Troubleshooting skills
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Understanding of cloud technologies
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the security of non-corporate systems.
- Design, maintain, and optimize virtualization stack.
- Lead design, deployment and maintenance of OS & security patching infrastructure.
- Drive technological innovation and implement solutions.
- Manage site upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Partner with research teams to understand their needs.
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate facility documentation.
- Apply technical expertise to tackle complex challenges.
- Ensure high availability and quality of service.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
