Google DeepMind is looking for a Research Scientist specializing in generative AI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence and will develop new methodologies to enhance the understanding of complex concepts through graphical explanations.

Skills

PhD in artificial intelligence or related discipline
Strong math and machine learning background

Responsibilities

Develop new approaches to teach LLMs to explain advanced concepts graphically.
Create new evaluation methods to measure performance.
Venture in novel research directions involving multimodal AI.
Train and evaluate new versions of Gemini.
Publish research.
