Platform Engineer

You'll tackle complex problems, maintain and enhance our SaaS infrastructure, and elevate our Continuous Delivery and Everything-as-Code approach. You'll become an expert in data science tooling and we'll trust you to make the call which technologies we use and which processes we implement.

Deepnote helps data teams to solve the hardest problems. Achieving this requires more than just advanced algorithms, larger datasets, and greater computing power. We need poweful tools that enable exploration, reasoning, and collaboration—tools that don’t yet exist. We need to invent them first.

🧑‍💻 What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure footprint.

• Own and drive our SaaS architecture, making and executing key decisions.

• Ensure we anticipate infrastructure problems before they arise.

• Elevate our Infrastructure as Code and CICD practices with tools like Terraform and CircleCI.

• Build reusable components for other engineering teams to interface with infrastructure.

• Help our community of data scientists and developers succeed with Deepnote.

⚡️ Bonus Points

• Proficiency with GCP and/or Azure in addition to AWS.

• Experience with full-stack development (React, TypeScript, Node.js).

• Familiarity with Python and data-related libraries.

• A passion for notebooks!
