Delay of Service Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: Answering the phones, routing calls to specific staff, completing and sending delays of services to Doctors and scanning them in Kinnser. Verifying SOC within 48 h of intake. Reporting any complaints to Administrator/DON daily. Inputs patients in system with FU information (admitted or non-admitted) for census purpose.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties of the DOS Clerk Services include, but may not be limited to:

  • Receives new referrals from staffer (name and dob previously entered by staffer) and inputs ALL information in Kinnser to generate demographic documentation including orders and insurance plan.
  • Generates DELAYS of services and sends them to order physician within 72 h of received.
  • Scan ALL DELAYS of services and attach them to patients file.
  • Call accepted referrals within 48 h of received to ensure service has been provided.
  • Assure timely submission of all documentation related to his/her duties.
  • Daily record in complaint book and submit any complaint to DON/Administrator via KMAIL for follow up.

Regulatory Requirements:

Language Skills:

•Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

•Additional languages preferred

Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements of this position include lifting, prolonged sitting. The mental/sensory requirements include recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, keyboarding, reading and logical thinking. The environment's pace can vary from steady to a sometimes-fast pace requiring handling of multiple priorities, frequent, sometimes intense customer interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
