Delegate Sales Executive

The International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) is an international events business that specializes in the production, sales and delivery of B2B C-Level Conferences. As a Delegate Sales Representative you will be responsible for converting incoming enquiries generated by online and offline marketing activities as well as outbound “hunting” for Fortune 500 companies into confirmed business.

With high levels of personal motivation and the ability to identify and convert additional revenue, the successful candidate will be someone with proven customer service ability and experience in telephone sales. This challenging position will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to develop and grow with the business along with the opportunity for top-level earnings.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Managing incoming event-related queries generated by the marketing, presenting the business value of attending the event and converting into potential delegates or future prospects through engaging conversations and lead nurturing
  • Hunting for new business and top organizations that are investing in areas of growth and looking for solutions to current market challenges
  • Strategic focus on grow past clients and client retention
  • Reporting success and making recommendations to improve the quality and quantity of incoming enquiries and conversion of these
  • Chasing debtors and ensuring that the revenue for delegate attendance fees has been received

Required skills and competencies

  • Articulate with first-rate oral & written communication skills
  • Comfortable and capable of engaging senior level managers over the phone / video meetings
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed personal KPIs and sales targets
  • Ability to learn sales processes, manage client negotiations, handle objections and ultimately close sales
  • Highly personable, persuasive manner
  • Results driven, highly resilient, energetic, works well under pressure
  • Excellent time management, organization skills and thrives in a high energy, fast paced environment
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with various CRM systems, Database and Lead management
  • Conference and event experience / knowledge is a plus
  • Good team player

Compensation

On top of a base, you will be eligible to earn un-capped commission directly related to your performance. Exceptional sales people have the opportunity to increase their personal earnings greatly. Full healthcare & dental benefits are also provided upon confirmation.
