This team develops both front-end and back-end services that provide Identity Governance and Administration capabilities in the Delinea Platform.This can be a remote/telecommute position based out of your home office. Preference for Hybrid in either Des Moines, IA or Colorado Spring, CO areas. Reports to Software Engineering Manager.What You’ll Do:• Be a fully contributing member of a Delinea Sprint team.• Design, develop, and test REST APIs and back-end services written in Java or .NET for large-scale, cloud-native applications.• Design, develop, and test User Interfaces written in Angular for large scale, cloud-native applications.• Design and develop unit tests.• Design and implement data persistence solutions using SQL and Document Based databases.• REST-based communication with back-end microservices.• Using Scrum processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in integration technologies and incorporate them into our integration ecosystem as appropriate.• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.What You’ll Need:• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.• 3-5 years of experience in cloud-native, enterprise full-stack application development• Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET or Node.js.• Experience developing SaaS applications on a microservices architecture that integrate with a wide variety of other SaaS vendors and enterprise systems.• Experience developing RESTful APIs.• Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience required.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally-distributed team.• Passionate about writing quality code and constantly honing your development skills.• Experience with large codebases and unit testing -- mock frameworks, automation testing, database testing, etc.• Familiarity with web-based security principles and best practices.• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles.• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure DevOps pipelines is a plus.• Experience with YAML is a plus.Bonus if You Have:• Ability to quickly read and understand both new and existing code.• Ability to look at the big picture, come up with great new ideas and execute those ideas by writing code to make it happen.• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server relational databases• Experience with Agile software development methodologies• Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS)• Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. continuous integration, continuous deployment)The base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 USD. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
