Delivery Manager - Member Portals

The Delivery Manager - Member Portals is responsible for leading and managing agile delivery for the Service Customers product family within our Software Engineering team - working directly with our Member Portal. They are responsible for all aspects of agile delivery including requirements, engineering, and quality assurance as well as product support. They will partner with other Business enablement and IT enablement teams to deliver mission critical functions that help grow Medica’s business. They will ensure delivery to meet Medica’s business objectives leveraging an internal agile team as well as vendor and technology partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Additionally, 5 years in area of supervision.
  • This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office – LOCATION – for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

  • Five years’ experience within IT directing the work of others as a formal or informal leader in an Agile Development environment with experience in two or more of the following areas: business analysis, application development, quality assurance/testing, agile delivery or project management.
  • Ability to perform business and technical analysis to identify technology needs,
  • Strong Leadership and management skills
  • Ability to manage, direct and engage team
  • Ability to resolve issues
  • Considerable knowledge of field at a manager or director level

Specific types of experience or skills preferred:

  • Project Mgmt and time tracking solutions
  • SAFe Agile Certification a plus but not required
  • Experience with external facing web or mobile applications
