Demand Planner

Within Supply Chain Operations, the Integrated Business & Demand Planning group is seeking a Junior Demand Planner to join the Demand Planning team. This position contributes to the development of the hardware Demand Plan forecast that drives Juniper’s manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will exhibit the quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and the interpersonal collaboration abilities required to be successful in this key Supply Chain Operations function.

Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly collaborative Consensus Demand Plan process and create a 6-quarter, SKU-level Demand Plan for the assigned hardware products.
• Develop an understanding of geographical, product lifecycle, market segment, and time-series based trending attributes for the Juniper hardware products.
• Perform quantitative historical trend analysis on shipments, bookings, and backlog as well as qualitative data evaluation on products, markets, and customers.
• Apply predictive analytics to support a Demand Plan forecast that accurately anticipates customer needs.
• Support transformational Demand Planning initiatives and business planning systems enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Line Management, Sales Operation, Finance, and other Supply Chain Operations groups in the generation of the Demand Plan.

• Proficient using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Oracle Demantra/Demand Management or other planning tool

Preferred Qualifications:

• College graduate with a BA/BS degree or equivalent in supply chain management, statistics or mathematics, engineering, management science, or business administration.
• 2-5 years prior experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain Operations.

• Relocation is not available for this position
• No travel requirements for the position.

Minimum Salary: $90,000.00

Maximum Salary:$138,000.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $90,000.00 and $138,000.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
