Enel X has an immediate need for a Demand Response Operations Associate working in the Network Operations Center in Boston. Our team helps deliver on North American demand response program commitments by leading implementation, managing execution, and coordinating operational support for Enel X’s demand response programs.
The ideal candidate will have a healthy understanding of the DR business and a strong desire to become an expert in DR program rules, proprietary systems, and operational protocols. Additionally, the candidate will support the DR Operations team in implementing new demand response programs, identifying and improving system dependencies, and coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize customer retention and portfolio delivery.
What You'll Do at Enel::
Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:

Revise and maintain dispatch related operating procedures for all assigned programs.

Support pre-season customer communications and dispatch performance management for assigned programs.

Develop proficient understanding of program contracts, rules, and operational implications
-
Monitor systems for configuration errors and software bugs, and identify potential product enhancements
-
Support maintenance and improvement of systems/platforms, including identification & resolution of issues impacting program execution.

Collaborate with teammates to improve customer performance while making recommendations for hardware and software system enhancements to Operations and Product management.

Develop scalable tools & processes to increase operational efficiency and improve customer delivery.

Support cross-functional implementation of new demand response & demand management programs.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred

0-3 years of experience in an operational role preferred;

Previous work in energy management, power generation, demand response, or a related industry is a plus

Experienced with Excel, Salesforce, and/or proprietary software

Six Sigma or certification in other quality improvement methodologies is a plus
