A rapidly growing company specializing in electrical power field engineering services is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in delivering high-quality services. The company provides a wide range of services, including acceptance testing, commissioning/start-up, and maintenance testing for electrical power systems ranging from 600 volts to 15 KV across various job sites and industries.Job Summary:The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to develop and execute comprehensive action plans that meet customer requirements and project demands. These plans will involve assigning labor, test equipment, material resources, and managing timeframes and budgets for multiple concurrent projects. The engineering services provided include electrical start-up, acceptance, and maintenance testing for low, medium, and high voltage power systems across diverse industries such as hospitals, water treatment plants, substations, power generating facilities, and food processing plants.Duties and Responsibilities:• Documentation and Communication: Maintain and prepare all project correspondence (written and electronic) and documentation.• Customer Liaison: Work with customers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.• Task Management: Assist internal teams with schedule management and ensure customer needs are met as projects evolve.• Project Billing: Prepare project billings in collaboration with the Project Manager.• Issue Resolution: Monitor projects and handle any issues that arise.• Point of Contact: Act as the day-to-day contact, communicating project status to the Project Manager.• Resource Management: Use management tools to monitor scope of work, budget estimates, working hours, plans, and expenditures.• Assignment Coordination: Assign field service employees, transportation, test equipment, and materials based on the scope of work for each project.• Performance Standards: Ensure that performance standards and requirements are consistently met.Requirements:Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED required; a minimum two-year degree in electrical power technology, construction management, or a related field is preferred.Preferred Experience: Electrical construction experience is preferred but not required.Skills:• Speed and accuracy while maintaining focus under pressure.• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.• Initiative, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.• Proficiency in documentation management and project management tools.
