Software Engineer II

Position Duties:

• Design and develop scalable solutions in a SaaS environment utilizing Java technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, feature development for concurrent user activity, bulk data processing, integration and messaging, as well as, reporting and analytics.

• Collaborate with project teams and customers to gather requirements, perform business analysis and solution implementation.

• Work in conjunction with the product development team to take requirements and add them to base product in such a way that it applies to a broad range of customers.

Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field & 24 months of experience as software engineer or similar role.

Special Requirements: 2 years' prior experience in

(1) designing and developing Java web applications

(2) software development using Spring and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate

(3) SQL for business logic and reporting queries

(4) Web Services (SOAP, RESTful)

(5) design patterns and client/server architectures

(6) Java web applications, with web development experience using JavaScript, XML, and JSON

(7) Object-Oriented design and implementation methodologies, design patterns and client/server architectures
