While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients' problems, no matter where you are in the world.Position Summary:Rate: $100 - $120 hourly on 1099The Marketing Cloud (MC) Solution Architect Freelancer leads one or more work streams in enterprise customer engagements, partnering with key collaborators to drive and achieve the vision while completing key deliverables. They serve as hands-on advisors, using strong communication skills, solution and/or technical knowledge, Salesforce Marketing Cloud product knowledge, industry experience, consulting experience, and knowledge of their client’s business to deliver customer return on investment. We have projected this role to last 4 to 5 months.Solution Architects are strong presenters and facilitators that are able to co-create the vision and own the execution with the customer as well as acquire customer acceptance of the delivered solution. They are capable of driving difficult conversations and removing roadblocks to implement the business strategies. They are proficient at analyzing issues and obstacles to resolve root cause, and can identify appropriate corrective action. They connect with technical and business customers from all levels through C-suite. On a day to day basis, they interact with customer product owner, business process owner and technical resources to understand requirements, analyze information, and craft comprehensive solutions. They also show a strong understanding of typical business challenges or common objectives faced by customers within the industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Serve as the technical leader for Salesforce MC projects remotely and occasionally onsite at client locations• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce MC (Engagement, Personalization, Intelligence, Account Engagement, Data Cloud) platform and products• Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality• Design and lead the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered• Follow and understand new Salesforce MC product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions• Provide expertise during sales efforts to estimate the technical level of effort• Participate in marketing events (e.g. sales meetings)• Demonstrate thought leadership through publishing, public speaking and client presentations• Coach and mentor junior technical and functional team membersQualifications:• 5+ years of consulting experience in Marketing Cloud products (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Data Cloud, Personalization, Intelligence, etc.)• Demonstrated functional and technical knowledge in implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions• Knowledge and working experience with scripting languages (AMPscript, SSJS), SQL, API (REST and SOAP), email development and design (HTML and CSS)• Proven track record of designing and optimizing business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems• Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills• Familiarity of the Salesforce Customer 360 suite, including Sales, Service, Commerce, Marketing, Mulesoft and Analytics• Ability to collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, goals, and set expectations on tasks that you and your team will be responsible forEducation/ExperienceBachelor's degree from four-year college or university.Certificates and Licenses:Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud AdministratorSalesforce Marketing Cloud ConsultantSalesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is a plusSalesforce Data Cloud Accredited Professional is a plusAny other Salesforce Certifications a plusWE SUPPORT YOU BEING YOU:DEPT® is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
