Design Manager

Celigo is looking for a Design Manager to lead the UX team, define and implement design processes, and oversee the creation of exceptional design solutions that meet business objectives.

What would you do, if hired?

  • Define design system strategy and manage the design system; implement processes to ensure consistent design quality and timely design deliverables
  • Set UX research strategy and determine specific areas of research; Ensure feedback and recommendations from research are synthesized and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Define interactive prototyping strategy and tools; Automate design and research processes where possible.
  • Identify team scaling needs, including capacity and team gap analysis. Grow the team, as business demands increase, including partnering with the Talent Acquisition team on recruiting and interviewing
  • Manage the UX team; define growth plans for each team member and mentor them in their career
  • Implement processes for workflow and resource management and prioritization
  • Ensure stakeholders are aware of the status of all release items at all times; Report weekly activities, sprint status, and health

Who are we looking for?

  • 7+ years of experience in UX design
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of designers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience with design software and tools
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Pay Scale Information :

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $130,000 - $142,000 for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
