Design QC

Design QC Quality Control (0795)

Veev is looking for a Design QC professional with a high level of knowledge and experience in construction and architecture, to work for our American/Israeli start-up company, in our Tel Aviv office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review design coordination, completeness, and readiness for production of the material sent from the design teams to fabrication.

• Detect issues that are not within approved standards, for the team to fix.

• Run automation and validation tools.

• Provide statistics on most common issues and continuously analyze and improve regression test suite coverage.

• Implement quality-based procedures to allow for ongoing improvements.

• Understand building vs. fabrication considerations and identify site and factory scope.

• Create and develop (automated) validation infrastructure to enable reliable, efficient, thorough, accurate, and repeatable tests.

• Own the validation release process for fabrication releases, including test strategy scoping, test execution, and sign-off.

Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:

• 2 years of QA/QC experience, continuous implementation, and integration processes.

• Ability to understand and review technical drawings and plans, and construction details.

• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization and time management, methodical with strong technical abilities, responsible.

• Must be able to work well with others as a team in a highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with the team.

• Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge within the role, and have the ability for learning independently.

• Excellent English communication skills.

Advantages :

• Associate degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Eng, or a formal certificate from a known establishment in a relevant field.

• Configuration control experience.

• Experience using BIM360, Navisworks, and other BIM tools, working with collaborative models.

• Knowledge and experience in intermediate family creation or customization.

• Knowledge of pre-fabrication or manufacturing / Shop drawings of building systems.
