Design Quality Specialist

Best Version Media (BVM) is one of the fastest growing privately held media companies in all of North America. We bring neighbors together by distributing professional, family-friendly publications to local communities all across the country. Our Production department is looking for a friendly, detailed oriented person who has high customer service standards and conceptual skills while working with tight deadlines. Graphic design and writing skills are a plus but there will be little to no design/writing work as part of the role. This position is a full time, remote position with the occasional need to come into our office located in De Pere, WI, for training and in-person meetings. Daily Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing proofs quickly to ensure print accuracy
• Screening magazines for copyrighted articles and images
• Sorting permissions and verifying copyright standards are being met
• Documenting details for each magazine in our internal tracking system, including corrective actions if needed
• Preflighting files for accuracy and output standards
• Working with the Design and Content Teams to ensure company policies are being followed
• Communicating and working with designers and other departments within BVM

Ideal candidate will have:

• Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in person)
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stay very focused on detailed tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• A background in print media
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Associates degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
