Join our team as a Desktop Support!

This is an onsite role in Rosemount, MN.

The Desktop Support position is responsible for providing support to end users for computer, application, system, device, and access and hardware issues. Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity. Responds to telephone, email and on line requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.

You will:

  • Perform hardware build outs, deployments, troubleshooting, maintenance, and inventory management
  • Provide second tier remote support + onsite troubleshooting for all US locations based on region from office to production support
  • Handle both office and production support
  • Maintain/update process documentation pertaining to group
  • Handle second tier level tickets, either resolves or knows how/where to escalate to
  • Provide on call after business hours support as part of a rotating schedule
  • Partner with other team members on larger projects
  • Participate in cross training, to assist with service desk, so able to assist if needed
  • Other duties as assigned

You have:

  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Experience using the following:
    • Image deployments system
    • Active Directory
    • Exchange
    • Windows OS
    • Ticketing systems
    • VDI
    • Networking
    • VOIP (Cisco phone system)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Team player, works well with department teams and external departments
  • Advanced technical knowledge + troubleshooting skills
  • Detail oriented, able to follow direction and process
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized with a LOT going on
