Senior Unix Administrator / Systems Engineer

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Unix Engineer/Administrator to work on mission-critical systems for federal government clients. Ideal candidates can work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Skills

Unix server support
VMware management
Unix infrastructure knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Agile environment experience

Responsibilities

Perform Unix administration duties
Manage system certificates for security compliance
Implement best practices for change and incident management
Maintain Solaris and Unix file systems
Collaborate with security teams for documentation and ATO
Operate and maintain NetBackup systems
Apply patch updates for vulnerabilities
Provide oversight for operating systems and hardware personnel
Utilize load balancing techniques in operational systems

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Equivalent experience in lieu of education accepted
