Toll Brothers Apartment Living, the luxury apartment development division of Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, has an outstanding opportunity for a Student Housing Development Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC.

Toll Brothers Campus Living (TBCL) is the Student Housing development arm of Toll Brothers, America’s Luxury Home Builder. It is also a sub-division of Toll Brothers Apartment Living, the nation’s 14th largest apartment developer. TBCL was established to create a portfolio of class-A Student Housing apartment communities throughout the country to complement our existing homebuilding and multi-family business. We brand and manage these apartments as Toll Brothers Campus Living communities and amenitize them to the exceptional standards for which we are known in our homebuilding business.

As one of the fastest growing apartment developers in the U.S., this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team on the rise. As a member of TBCL’s Acquisitions Team, the Student Housing Development Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

  • Research macroeconomic student housing trends and analyze individual student housing markets to inform future and current development opportunities
  • Interact with investment brokers, visit target properties, and conduct thorough market analyses
  • Underwrite new student housing acquisition opportunities
  • Prepare investment materials for Investment Committee, executive management team, and outside investors
  • Support due diligence activities
  • Facilitate LP equity and lender underwriting, obtain financing quotes, and evaluate financing alternatives
  • Perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis and modeling
  • Participate in the strategic planning process

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in real estate, investment banking, or private equity
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills with a strong background in financial modeling and valuation analysis
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Eagerness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in investment valuation and Excel
  • Collaborative and creative problem-solving skills
