Develops an understanding of budget review and monitoring, production review and monitoring, troubleshooting of wells, and analysis of mechanical failures.EDUCATIONHigh School diploma or equivalentEXPERIENCERequires a minimum of 5 years of related industry experienceJOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist with the supervision of on site field operations of the Company’s operated properties including daily production and operation and maintenance of production facilities• Understand and apply all Company policies and ensures others comply with these policies• Assist in the identification of opportunities for improvements in production, cost efficiencies and/or problem areas with current Flowbacks in areas and also with any base wells that are on current locations if new wells are added to a pre-existing facility and act on it within the designated Assistant Foreman limitations of authority• Have the ability to check allocations for all sites and make corrections if needed.• Utilize the Company’s Lease Profit and Loss statements and other sources of data as part of the identification of opportunities; provide recommendations to the Foreman, Superintendent, and Asset Engineer, particularly in the areas requiring engineering support and/or analysis• Assist in the supervision and training of lease operators• Review, process, and stamp invoices electronically to provide correct WBS code to charge to. Also when Flowback period is over and handover to base occurs getting vendor aware that invoices are now to be sent to appropriate Production Foreman.• Oversight of company’s purging processes on new builds and assist in writing SOP for these processes. Also communicate with appropriate Flowback company on open up date and equipment delivery dates.• Maintain regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Asset Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Environmental Health and Safety Department• Secure and maintain all Company issued equipment, including but not limited to computers, vehicles, and analysis or test equipment• Travel and work extended hours on short notice• Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected• Provide field wide contact with all personnel in the event of emergency or other significant occurrences• Recommends enhancement of production operations.OTHER REQUIREMENTS• Oil and gas industry experience preferred• Practice safe work habits at all times• Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes• Basic computer skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Able to work within a team environment• Creative individual, capable of analyzing and solving mechanical problems• Strong leadership, supervisory and coaching skills• Able to travel and work extended hours• Position requires operation of Company vehicles.
