Agiloft is looking for a DevOps Engineer 3 that thrives working with large enterprises in multiple industries, with unique business challenges requiring sophisticated solution design
Position Overview
This is a mission-critical position requiring a DevOps Engineer who can create Ansible playbooks.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for our cloud infrastructure design and our virtualized stack at Cologix in Santa Clara, designing process improvements, network management, and administering the RedHat Linux servers used by our SaaS service.
Job Responsibilities
- Create Ansible playbooks used to create and maintain Agiloft’s Linux servers on-site, and in the cloud
- Write Python code to enhance and maintain our custom-written automation tools utilizing a clustered MySQL backend
- Collaborate with existing Python Developer to create and maintain infrastructure as code
- Engineering and administration of remote Linux servers
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Ansible
- Python
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Linux and virtualization
- Familiarity with IPv4 networking, including DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SSH.
- Superior troubleshooting / debugging skills
- Ability to work collaboratively between teams to ensure timely delivery of system engineering initiatives and goals
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation schedule with the rest of the team
- Good judgment, capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action
- High intelligence and creativity
- Will need to complete and pass Computer Based Training for Security Standards, Anti-Harassment, and Agiloft software during the first 30 days of employment

- Ceph Cluster
- MySQL / Galera
- Puppet, Chef, Salt, or other automation tools
- Prometheus / Grafana monitoring
